This route is good to bicycle, off road motorcycle and drive. The description considers bicycle. This route will require the rider to have an average amount of fitness. There are a few steep hills on the way. The rider may experience a lot of loose stones on the gravel road.

ROUTE DETAIL

Depart from the hotel towards Volksrust,.
in about 2km the the road to Newcastle will be on the left , follow the signs through Goat Country.
The road is in good condition and travels next to the dam. Zaaihoek is situated in KZN.
At  the pointer to Volksrust –  keep left – past the rural Zaaihoek village –  Take the left turn into the Zaaihoek complex.
Return via the same route.
