I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Wakkerstroom since 2023, when I first attended the annual ‘Vleifees’ in April. On each visit, I stay at the charming and idyllic ‘Bell Bottom Blues’ guest house, which is conveniently located in the heart of the town. It is within perfect walking distance to the quaint little main street shops and the surrounding wetlands.
The guest house offers spacious, eclectic rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a cozy lounge, and a family kitchen perfect for entertainment.
The tranquil atmosphere is enhanced by the picturesque mountainous landscape, grazing horses and donkeys, the most beautiful sunset backdrops and the friendly host, Roy Elliott.
