Dear all,
The Wakkerstroom Orphans Feeding Scheme is to help needy families in Ezizamaleni. There are 10 families that receive a food parcel every week . Twenty five children are recipients of the fund, these children are cared for by grandmothers or foster mothers or are waiting for child grants to come through. Funds to feed the children come from the selling of donated second hand clothes, kitchen equipment and linen, and cash donations.
With just over a month to go until Christmas, it is time again to start collecting for the orphans Christmas hampers.
Cash donations are most welcome, and I will shop for any of the items below to make up the hampers.

Oil, Flour, Sugar, Mielie Meal, Rice, Tea, Jam, Peanut butter, Cold drinks, Chips, Soap, Sweets, Toothpaste, Washing powder, Washing up liquid, Salt, Stock cubes, Soya mince, Biscuits, Milk powder, Baked beans, Tinned fruit, Jelly, Custard, Frozen chicken pieces, Potatoes, Onions, Oranges, Cabbage, Other fruit and vegetables.
