14 and 15th June: Arts and Crafts ramble
On the weekend of Youth Day (16th June) there will be an arts and crafts ramble in the village of Wakkerstroom. There will be maps available at the information centre or you can download them off the website, and you can visit artists and crafters in their homes or in the several galleries that will be represented. Most venues will be within easy walking distance of the centre of town, and the event will be supported by special menus at the restaurants and coffee shops.
This is an opportunity to visit a unique village in southern Mpumalanga and enjoy the healthy, safe, rural environment with your friends and family. Book accommodation early so you are not disappointed and be aware that we sometimes have snow in Wakkerstroom in the winter, so bring winter woollies!
