De Oude Stasie is located on the premises of the original Wakkerstroom Railway Station established in 1916.
The ambiance and memorabilia of the golden age of steam has been maintained by the combination use of the original buildings and facilities and a pub and veranda area, with an unbelievable view of the wetlands and village.
De Oude Stasie offers a homely, child and pet friendly pub atmosphere, with a lovely fireplace, 10 electrified camp sites with clean, serviced ablutions, 20 un-serviced camp sites, as well as a 30 seater conference / function venue with a projector and screen.
We are adventure bike as well as off-road bike and mountain bike friendly and can accommodate and welcome groups. As well as the above, buffet breakfasts for groups of 10 or more are available subject to quotation. De Oude Stasie is a ‘must visit’ venue when in Wakkerstroom.
