The Big Tree property is in town and comprises two separate dwellings: Big Tree Cottage and the Branch. The cottages, which are rented out together, are cosy, homely and situated in a large garden with a single garage.
Equipped with everything you need for a self-catered stay in Wakkerstroom and if you don’t feel like cooking there is easy access to most of Wakkerstroom’s eateries which are within walking distance.
The main cottage, “Big Tree”, has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds. The kitchen is open plan to the living/dining area and the bathroom has a bath and a shower.
The smaller cottage, the “Branch” comprises a large room with a double bed and bunk beds behind a dividing wall. The Branch has its own bathroom and kitchenette.
The premises are doggy friendly (please no dogs on the beds or furniture) and of course there’s a braai kettle.
Once you’ve unpacked and settled in you are ready to enjoy the peace and quiet of a small country village. Relax, explore the town and surrounds or take advantage of the area’s wonderful birding opportunities.
Note: In the spirit of relaxation there is no TV. Important sporting events can be watched at the local hotel.
